About

Tatia Gogati Shohet is a painter and scenic artist based in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Born in Chiatura and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, she earned a BFA in Fine Arts from the Nikoladze Art School and an MFA with distinction in Set and Production Design from the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the Left Bank Center, Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2022); Almacén Gallery, Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2021); the Blue Gallery, Tbilisi (1999); and the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts Gallery (1999).
Gogati Shohet has exhibited in group exhibitions at the Hanina Gallery, Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2026); the Annual Israeli Art Exhibition sponsored by Bank Hapoalim (2021–24); Orly Dvir Studio, Tel Aviv-Jaffa (2019); Tel Aviv Cinematheque (2006); the Contemporary Art Center, Ramla (2001); the Art Workshop Gallery, Rishon LeZion (2000); and the International Convention Center, Jerusalem (2000).
